"What is our mission as journalists at the collections? I guess the most important thing for fashion professionals is to read the worldviews of the times from collections. In my case, it is a bit different. It is not in my nature to see fashion objectively. What comes first for me is intense emotions, the feeling of 'I want to wear this.' Then, it is after i calm my emotions that i am able to start to think about the trends and the times. If i am not inspired to wear the clothes, i can't be bothered. The joy of wearing fashion gives me energy to work as a stylist. I am not sure if it is a right stance. But, i know for a fact that you can't enjoy the attraction of clothes unless you wear them. Just like you can't review food without eating it, reviewing fashion just by looking at it is nothing but fake and phony preaching by a learned fool. My Yamato spirit will not allow that. So here i am, after 39 years with this attitude, blessed with this great opportunity to be editor-in-chief of Fashion News MEN'S."

A Brief Encounter

It is a definite for sure, the marks made by people who tread in our lives. Some welcomed and some unwelcomed. A technique called "The Eraser" has been conceived. The Eraser conceptually works through the total annihilation of every traces, object memory and channels of communication between an individual and a somebody.

So drastic the measure was that if one was to initiate contact with the person subjected to ex-communication one phantasmal day, even they could not.

The tip of my Eraser still runs warm.

Bliss

A sullen sunday evening with the after taste of the conundrums of a busy hustling weekend.

Recollecting a car accident, the literary metaphor of being robbed of mobility.
People to minister to.
Bills to pay.
Dreary weather.
The eclipse of a good pre-conclusion of the week.

Dressed in comfortable clothes. A glass of cabernet sauvignon as accompaniment, a quiet house and awaiting a good hearty dinner in this cold cold weather.

Bitter Medicine for a Winter's Night

Relinquished in the plains with the line attached. Ready to draw in when danger emerged. However not all could draw in time, ceding for grazing and injury. Yet they perpetuate their vulnerability. They leave it out, hoping that the ripe time comes with the right one.

Change shall not be rendered void.

Humiliation, hurt and dejection was the composition. Let us sleep on it hoping it dissipates come dawn.

There are different people who holds varying significance in your lives. There are those who you merely gaze at with a blur past your eyes. They do not invoke inspirations nor aspirations. You do not hold them in high esteem. Rather you pity them, you pity that they do not hold on to dreams and just whiling away their youth in the spiral of destruction and dismay. They have nothing in their lives to account and review. In a word "aimless".

However, there are those who cease not to spur in you a sense of dissatisfaction with the current and the unpacifiable need to grow. You would never carry a conversation with them without being struck with such profound wisdom and foresight. Somehow you feel addicted to them. Addicted to talk to them to expose the greatness of their minds. You seek to exploit their thoughts and bathe in the newly found enlightenment... wow.

Such exilaration.

Fear

An Indian sage once told of an exemplary insight of the human conscience. He ascribed the heart as the flesh that contained a triangle as the core. Here humans are birthed into the world possessing the innocent heart, free from the scrapings of human tendencies to evil.

But with each malevolent and malicious acts, the triangle moves. Not around the heart but around its also imaginary axis. Therefore scraping at the flesh of the heart inducing guilt, hurt and regret. However, with the persistance at evil and the inclination of humans to dismiss their guilt, the more the triangle moves. It scrapes at the heart until one day it will spin freely, free of any flesh to tear away at us, and our guilt. What we have now is literally a hole in the heart. What we have is the inability of us to feel a morsel of remorse, guilt and regret, elements that is instrumental in guiding our paths.

This is my fear. I fear that one day i will have not an ounce of human, that one day i may merely gaze at my doings from a lofty perch of indifference. I yearn to be shot with an arrow. An arrow to remind me of good, mercy and empathy.

HARLO!

Considering it was a tuesday and the fact that this was my first schedule free tuesday in months, i took the opportunity to watch two movies. One in Chadstone and the other in Century City. What i want to talk about here was an episode that took place in Century City that made me analyse and rethink my "Hate people who..." list.

Searching for our allocated seats somewhere in the middle section, i caught a glimpse of someone who i knew from university. I generously waved to him and offered a smile only to find my unnecessary generosity returned with a sideway glance.

WHAT THE FUCK! Yes that was it! It topped my list for sure.Number 1. Hate people who do not say Hi.

To elaborate, people who for a certainty knew who you were and just pretended that they did not see you when both parties had exchanged eye contact. But to make it worse, people who do not even return a greeting. Incomprehensible behavior, unbelievable and just plain weird. But who cares. This is certainly not a deterrent for me to greet that blasted idiot when i do see him again.
