飲食男女

I was first acquainted with this movie in 1998 during one of my Chinese school sessions. It was a pivotal time that spurned in me a greater passion for Classical Chinese cooking and has not waned ever since.

The movie is called 飲食男女 and was directed by Ang Lee, famously known for directing Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon. The actor is the late Sihung Lung.
